Water Treatment Operator
Open
Class: 3, 2, or 1
Schedule: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., four days on / four days off
Location: Milledgeville, GA (on site)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor water treatment systems and equipment
- Perform routine inspections, sampling, and testing
- Record operational data and maintain accurate logs
- Respond to alarms and troubleshoot system issues
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Water Operator License (Class 3, 2, or 1)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reporting
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
- Shift pattern: Four days on / four days off
